CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Brandon Yam has been upgraded from critical to serious condition according to Carolinas Medical Center.
Yam was hit by a stray bullet at the Buddhist Temple on Owen Boulevard Friday.
CMPD believes that someone fired a gun into the air as a ‘celebratory shot’ on the fourth and when the bullet fell, it hit Yam in the head.
