VAL D’ISERE, France (AP) β€” Austrian skier Anna Fenninger posted the fastest time in a World Cup downhill training run ahead of countryman Regina Sterz and Lindsey Vonn on Friday.

Training was interrupted for about 45 minutes after Stefanie Moser of Austria crashed, and many racers struggled with a difficult jump near the top of the Oreiller-Killy course.

Fenninger, who is second in the overall standings behind Tina Maze, was .42 seconds faster than Sterz, and .45 quicker than Vonn.

Vonn, coming back from a career-threatening knee injury, won a downhill at Lake Louise, Canada, this month, her first win for nearly two years.

After falling heavily, Moser was helped back onto her feet and appeared unharmed.
