Winterizing Your Skin

CHARLOTTE, NC- You’ve winterized your house, your car and your wardrobe, but don’t leave your skin out in the cold.

Make up artist Kelly Coulter says keeping your skin hydrated will help protect it for the long winter.

She reccomends a more creamier cleanser and says use a body scrub to get rid of the dry and dead skin.

Depending on your skin type and sensitivity Coulter says to exfoliate one to two times a week.

Applying moisturizer within minutes of bathing will also help nourish skin. Adding a few drops of jojoba, coconut or almond oil will also help.

Vaseline can also help fix dry feet, elbows, hands and knees.
