CATS Gold Line Streetcar Service Suspended Due To Inclement Weather

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) has announced transit service impacts for Tuesday, Jan. 18 due to the recent inclement weather in the area.

CityLYNX Gold Line streetcar service will be suspended Tuesday due to ice and snow along the alignment, according to a news release.

To reduce the impact of the streetcar service being suspended, CATS will provide CityLYNX Connector bus service to all streetcar stops.

In addition, the Pass Sales booth at the Charlotte Transportation Center will close early at 6 p.m.

CATS will continue to announce transit service impacts as needed.
