Comedian Kevin Hart Announces His First Major Tour In Four Years Is Coming To Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Comedian Kevin Hart announced Monday that he is bringing laughs back to Charlotte in September with his upcoming comedy tour.

The Reality Check Tour, Hart’s first major tour in over four years, begins in July and will reach over 30 arenas across North America, including stops in Las Vegas, NV; Boston, MA; Dallas, TX; Miami, FL; Montreal, QB; and more.

Hart’s last global live standup comedy tour was “The Irresponsible Tour,” which was also released as an original Netflix standup special in April 2019.

The 2022 tour will stop at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte on Sept. 11. Hart will also take the stage in Raleigh at the PNC Arena on Aug. 20.

“I am hype as shit to go back out on tour. There is nothing better than making people laugh, I can feel the energy in the venues like caffeine pumping through my veins,” Kevin Hart said. “I’ve been cooking up something special and have thoughts I need to get off my chest. Go get your tickets and come ready to have a good night!”

The tour will be a phone-free experience. Upon arrival at the venue, phones will be secured in individual Yondr pouches that will be opened at the end of the event. Guests maintain possession of their devices at all times, and can access them throughout the event only in designated Phone Use Areas within the venue.

Anyone seen using a device during the performance will be escorted out of the venue by security, according to a news release.

Tickets for the tour go on-sale Friday, Feb. 18 at 10 a.m. at KevinHartNation.com. Fans will also have access to a special Live Nation presale beginning Wednesday, Feb. 16 at 10 a.m. through Thursday, Feb. 17 at 10 p.m.
