The Charlotte Observer reports that Deputy City Manager Ronald Kimble revealed the city’s plans on Tuesday to about 200 people at the Charlotte Rotary Club’s weekly meeting.

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (AP) β€” Asheville and the Southern Conference basketball championships are staying together into the next decade. The two sides announced a four-year extension to an agreement to continue playing the tournaments at U.S. Cellular Center through 2021. The existing deal was set to expire in 2017.
