OSLO, Norway (AP) β Norwegian cross-country queen Marit Bjorgen is expecting her first child in December and will not ski next season.
Bjorgen told Norwegian broadcaster NRK on Tuesday, “I want to come back in 2017 if things work well.”
The 35-year-old six-time Olympic champion has also won 14 world championships.
She lives with Fred Borre Lundberg, an Olympic champion in Nordic combined.
