The accident happened around 7:30pm Wednesday on the 600 block of West Sugar Creek Road. It was there that police say 32-year-old Kameka Collins ran out in front of 47-year-old Moises Guzman’s truck and was hit.

Police say Collins was wearing dark colored clothing and was crossing in an undesignated crossing area when she was hit. Guzman swerved to avoid hitting her, but was unable to avoid her. Collins was pronounced dead at the scene.
