Parent Robbed At Gunpoint Near Hidden Valley Elementary

CHARLOTTE, NC — Police are looking for a suspect they say robbed a parent at gunpoint near Hidden Valley Elementary School in Charlotte.

The incident happened around 10am Thursday morning on Bilmark Avenue near Hidden Valley Elementary. Police say the parent of a student was robbed at gunpoint, but the robbery was not on school grounds. No one was injured.

The school was on lockdown for a brief time, but it has been lifted.

Police have units searching for a suspect(s) in the area.
