CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is conducting a missing person investigation involving 16-year-old Hailey Burns.
South Division Patrol Officers responded to a missing person call for service at a residence in the 17000 block of Baldwin Hall Drive. The reporting person stated that her daughter was last seen at the residence on Monday at 12:30 a.m. Burns has not made contact with family members since then and there is concern for her safety.
Hailey Burns was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black long sleeve t-shirt with Marilyn Monroe on it and Converse tennis-shoes. There is information that Hailey Burns left on her own accord. It is unclear if she had assistance by others or if she is still in the Charlotte area.
