LINCOLNTON, N.C. — A Lincolnton woman was arrested for using someone else’s identity for employment after entering the U.S. illegally.

Nohemi Jimenez of Texas filed a report with her local police department as well as the Lincolnton Police Department. Detective Richard Calhoun conducted an investigation and interviewed the suspect at the business.
Rhode Montalvo, 46, confessed to using the identity to attain employment after entering the U.S. illegally in 2000. Police say she was using the woman’s name, date of birth, and social security number.
Montalvo was arrested on one felony count of Identity Theft and placed in the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center.
