Police Looking for Suspects of 5 Armed Robberies

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects responsible for multiple robberies from Charlotte businesses.

On June 13th at approximately 2:13 a.m., an unknown black male used rocks to break a window and enter the McDonald’s, located at 6227 Monroe Road. The suspect proceeded to rob the business or property at gunpoint. He then fled on foot towards Independence Boulevard.

On June 17th after midnight, two unknown black males used a brick to break the glass on the door of the Burger King, located at 2901 South Boulevard. The suspects then entered the business and robbed the business at gunpoint.

On June 17th at 5:22 a.m., two unknown black male suspects entered the McDonald’s, located at 8121 University City Boulevard. They proceeded to rob the business and flee on foot.

On July 8th at approximately 11:00 p.m., an unknown black male suspect entered the Jimmy John’s, located at 9130 Harris Corners Parkway and robbed the business at gunpoint.

On July 10th around 6:30 a.m., the same suspect entered the Bojangles, located at 9501 Stafford Road in Cabarrus County. He proceeded to rob the business at gunpoint.

The main suspect involved in each of these robberies is described as a black male wearing all black. Anyone with information concerning these cases or the suspects is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
