Police: 3 Men Arrested for Armed Robbery
Charlotte N.C. – Charlotte Mecklenburg Police recently charged Hector Echeverria, Juan Daniel Lara, and Christian Miranda for an armed robbery, which took place at the 6100 block of Balsam Fir Drive.
Officers responded to the robbery, speaking to the victims who stated that they had been approached by two male suspects. The men, who used firearms, threatened the victim and demanded that they hand over property including one of the victim’s car.
After gathering descriptions for both the suspects and the stolen vehicle, officers were able locate said vehicle and conduct a traffic stop at Reddman Road. The occupants of the vehicle were detained and later identified as Hector Echeverria, Juan Daniel Lara, and Christian Miranda.
All three men were transported to the CMPD Independence Division office and interviewed by detectives. Afterwards, Lara and Miranda were charged with three counts of Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, three counts of Conspiracy to Commit Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon and Larceny. Echeverria was charged with three counts of Conspiracy to Commit Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon.
