NC Gubernatorial Candidates Face Off For The Last Time Before Elections

CHARLOTTE, NC — Tuesday night the three candidates for North Carolina governor sat down for their final debate before voters head to the polls.

Current Republican Governor Pat McCrory, Democratic challenger Roy Cooper, and Libertarian challenger Lon Cecil took the stage in Raleigh for a 60 minute debate that covered a wide range of topics. The candidates faced questions regarding House Bill 2, coal ash pits and cleanup, Hurricane Matthew recovery, the economy, and more.

Voters will be able to make their choice for NC Governor on November 8th. Early in-person voting is also scheduled to begin October 20th.
