ROCK HILL, S.C. – Authorities arrested a man for allegedly stabbing a 60-year-old woman to death in Rock Hill Saturday afternoon, according to the Rock Hill Police Department.
Police were called to a residence on Brunswick Drive near Saluda Road around 5:03 p.m. When officers arrived, they found a 60-year-old woman dead due to a stabbing.
Investigators identified the suspect as 27-year-old Shawn Marion Love, who police said was a family member of the victim. Love left the scene prior to the police arriving.
On Sunday, Love was arrested by the Huntersville Police Department for charges in their jurisdiction, officials said. Rock Hill Police were notified of Love’s arrest and await for him to be extradited.
Love is facing charges for murder and possession of a weapon during a crime of violence.
