CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police say they arrested a local elementary school music teacher for possession child porn.
Investigators say on October 20th they received a tip that Benjamin McMiller, a 32-year-old music teacher at Oakdale Elementary School, was viewing child porn online.

Police say McMiller voluntarily went to police headquarters for an interview. During the interview, police say McMiller confessed to streaming child porn.
He has been charged with four counts of 3rd degree sexual exploitation of a minor and one count of 2nd degree sexual exploitation of a minor. These charges are specially related to the viewing and possession of child porn, according to a news release.
School officials say McMiller was hired back in August of 2015.
