CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte Fire Department has deployed a Task Force to assist with the wildfires in western North Carolina.
The seventeen member team, designated “Task Force 1”, which also includes 3 tankers and 2 brush trucks, is prepared to be deployed for several days.
Charlotte Fire Department members are also on standby with the North Carolina Helicopter Aquatic Rescue Team to assist as well.
