Third Suspect Arrested In Deadly Rock Hill Block Party Shooting

A third suspect has been arrested after a block party shooting in Rock Hill.

Tyquarious Davis has been charged with accessory before the fact of murder for his involvement which resulted in the shooting death of Montest Mincey, according to Rock Hill Police.

On June 14th, Davis was arrested in Lancaster without incident, according to a news release.

Davis, 24, of Lancaster, was transported to the Rock Hill Jail. Detectives continue to investigate the shooting.

ROCK HILL, S.C. – Police arrested a 19-year-old and an 18-year-old in connection to the deadly neighborhood block party shooting in Rock Hill last Saturday.

Following a lengthy investigation, detectives determined that D’markieoun Ji’shae Clyburn, 19, was responsible for the fatal shooting of 44-year-old Montest Mincey.

A warrant for murder was issued for Clyburn on Friday, June 7th. He was arrested without incident.

Police also obtained a warrant for 18-year-old Quantrel Jaheim Barrino for allegedly being an accessory before the fact of murder. He was arrested early Saturday morning without incident.

Both Clyburn and Barrino were taken to the Rock Hill Jail. A bond hearing for Clyburn will take place at a later date.

The shooting is still under investigation.

Montest Mincey

It happened around 10 p.m. on Saturday, June 1st on Southland Drive near Mount Holly Road in Rock Hill. It left two people dead and two people injured.
