SALISBURY, N.C. – The Salisbury VA Health Care System, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, announced two upcoming Veteran outreach events hosted in Kernersville and Salisbury in July and August 2024.
The Kernersville VA Veteran Town Hall will be held at VFW Post 5352 in Kernersville, NC, on Thursday, July 11, 2024, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Salisbury VA PACT Act Summer VetFest will be held in Building 6 at the W.G. (Bill) Hefner Salisbury VA Medical Center in Salisbury, NC, on Saturday, August 3, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Both Veteran outreach events will offer Veterans, caregivers, survivors, and their families an opportunity to engage and enroll in VA health care services; check on their VA benefits claim; learn more about VA burial services; attend a Q&A session with local VA leadership; and more! Light refreshments will be provided, courtesy of the VA’s Veteran Canteen Service and the Center for Development and Civic Engagement.
