BOONE, N.C. — Police searched wooded areas around Appalachian State University campus today Β for missing freshman Anna Smith. Β Β Β
The 18-year-old has been missing since Tuesday afternoon. Surveillance video and records revealed Smith used a University Van service to leave campus.Β
Student volunteers and Smith’s friends and family members plan to distribute the flier throughout campus.
