CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte drivers can expect heavy traffic delays around Bojangles Coliseum Thursday morning through early evening due to a campaign rally held by Vice President Kamala Harris.
Intermittent road closures should be expected at varying times across multiple highways and local roadways including I-77 and East Independence Boulevard between I-277 and Eastway Drive starting at 2 p.m.
Additionally, traffic delays are also anticipated around Charlotte Douglas International Airport, 2:30p.m. – 7 p.m.
Please seek alternate routes if you must travel during these times on Thursday.
