Woman Charged With Running Over Pregnant 33-Year-Old On Interstate

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A woman has been charged with running over a pregnant 33-year-old on I-85 South in Charlotte.

Troopers responded to the incident around 8:30 p.m. on October 21st.

Kimberly Price has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon and battery of an unborn child.

According to a magistrate’s order, Price “unlawfully, willfully, and feloniously” assaulted the pregnant woman with “the intent to kill her.”

The victim remains in the hospital with serious injuries including broken bones, according to a police report.
