We had it pretty easy around here. Β Atlanta was hit so hard by the storm they needed the National Guard to help kids get home from school. Β Roads are still at a standstill, and emergency services are so overloaded, 911 wants people toΒ TweetΒ the police if they need help! Β Blocked-off roads and communications problems… power outages and stranded schoolkids… our guys seem to have done a better job, but how much better?
DOT preps paid off this time. Β We’ve had a kind of dry run with slagging during previous points in the winter. Β We never got anything then, but we did this time, and maybe that’s all that matter: being ready when it counts.
