After an uncomfortable week, a passing cold front ushers in some cooler weather. Sunday offers just a tiny chance at a stray shower with mostly sunny skies and less humidity. Highs to start the week top out in the upper 80s. However, the cooler temps don’t last too long. Charlotte warms to the low 90s by Tuesday and mid 90s on Wednesday. Wednesday’s heat index flirts with the triple digits. Rain chances remain light for most of the week. At best there’s a 30% shot on Wednesday and Friday.
Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low 69°.
Sunday: Mostly sunny and drier. High 87°.
Sunday Night: Partly cloudy and mild. Low 70°.
Monday: Partly cloudy with a 20% chance for rain. High 89°.
