Cooler Weather Hangs On For Monday, Heating Up Midweek

Monday’s temperature and humidity creeps up just slightly as highs top out around 89°.  The afternoon and early evening could see a few pop up showers and storms.  Over the midsection of the week, temps climb to the 90s.  However, it’s increasing humidity that will send our heat indices up near 100­°.  Good news, though, a cold front moves in just in time for the weekend.  It gives us strong rain and thunderstorm chances, but knocks highs back into the mid to upper 80s.

Tonight:  Stray showers, mostly clear.  Low 71°.

Monday:  Partly cloudy, isolated storms.  High 89°.

Monday night:  Partly cloudy.  Low 72°.

Tuesday:  Partly cloudy and warming.  High 91°.
