Medicine bottles recalled for child poisoning risk

CHARLOTTE, N.C.– A national recall is in effect for four-ounce refillable medicine bottles from Cabinet Health. The Consumer Product Safety Commission reports repeated use can cause the plastic lid to not secure tightly, posing a potential poisoning risk for children. More than 65 thousand bottles are affected. Consumers are advised to contact Cabinet Health for replacement lids. No injuries have been reported.
