More Heat Plus Storms Sunday, Cooling Down Midweek

Charlotte continues to get pummeled with the heat Sunday.  Expect another round of mid 90s with heat indices climbing over 100°.  Scattered storms look likely late afternoon into the evening.  We’ll lose a few degrees Monday and Tuesday with highs in the low 90s.  But, Wednesday sees highs dip to the mid 80s.  Storm chances remain good through Wednesday.  Temps become more seasonal to finish the week with highs in the upper 80s to low 90s while rain chances slip to around 20%.

Tonight:  Partly cloudy.  Low 77°.

Sunday:  Hot with afternoon/evening storms possible.  High 95°.

Sunday night:  Partly cloudy with isolated storms.  Low 76°.

Monday:  Mostly cloudy with scattered storms.  High 92°.
