8AM Couch Chat: Stopping For School Buses

Drivers who don’t stop for kid’s stopped school bus could pay a thousand dollar fine. It’s part of a new safety law Governor Cooper signed Tuesday. Since 1999, 14 students were killed getting on or off a bus in North Carolina.

State reports also show, more than three thousand drivers in the state illegally pass a school bus on a single day.
