8AM Couch Chat: Should This Bill Be Dropped?

The deadly rally in Charlottesville. One person died, and 19 others were hurt after a car drive into protesters there. All of this is shining a light on a proposed law in North Carolina. Back in April the house voted to protect drivers who h it protesters blocking roads. This came in response to the Keith Scott shooting riots and protests. Under it, drivers who hit a protester blocking the road can’t be sued for injuries if they “exercise due care”.

Critics are saying this will give drivers a false sense of entitlement… After what we’ve seen happen this weekend, should this bill be dropped now?
