CHARLOTTE, NC – If you live in a household that generally makes $67,000 or less each year, you can get your taxes done for free on Saturday, March 15, 2025.
The non-profit Community Link is partnering with Goodwill to host a “Tax-a-thon Day”.
The event is Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm at the Goodwill located at 5301 Wilkinson Blvd. in Charlotte.
You do not need to register in advance. The event is first come, first served.
Trained volunteers who are certified by the IRS will prepare the tax returns.
If you are interested you need to bring the following:
– A photo ID
– Social Security card for each taxpayer and dependent
– Last year’s tax return
– Voided blank check or online banking information for direct deposit of any tax refund.
