CLEVELAND CO., NC – There is now an increased reward for information in the disappearance of 9-year-old Asha Degree.
The Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office announced the increased reward, totaling $75,000 on Friday.
The announcement coincides with National Missing Children’s Day on May 25th.
The sheriff’s office says it recently retested evidence using new advancements in technology and continue to make significant progress in the case.
Degree left her home in Cleveland County in the early morning hours of Valentine’s Day in February of 2000 and disappeared.
