Discussion:
In the wake of yesterday’s cold front, drier air is sliding in to the region today. It will feel great with the drop in humidity under sunny skies as highs push into the mid to upper 80s this afternoon. The Bermuda High begins to build in tomorrow bringing back some mugginess with spotty PM storms returning to the forecast. Highs will top out near 90 this weekend. but it will feel like the mid 90s when you factor in the humidity. If you’re trying to get outside with dad for Father’s Day, the morning will not only be the most comfortable temperature-wise, it will also be the best chance to dodge afternoon scattered storms. No day will be a washout, but pulse storms will have a lot of moisture to tap into, and heavy downpours could lead to localized flooding. Early next week, a system may bring more organized storm chances as temperatures remain above average with highs near 90.
