SALISBURY, NC — Deputies are investigating after a body was found in a wooded area Wednesday afternoon.
A cadaver dog found the body behind the old Magic Mart building on Jake Alexander Boulevard. Investigators say they were following up on information received about a missing person case back in May.
The body has been went to the NC Medical Examiner’s Office for identification. The case is being investigated by the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office and the SBI.
