HUNTERSVILLE, NC — Police have identified the teen killed in Saturday morning’s accident on McCoy Road.
Officials say Jerod Mitchell, 18, was pronounced dead on the scene of a single vehicle crash around 7:30am. A passenger in the vehicle, William Llano-Sierra, 18, was transported with serious injuries.
Police have not yet determined what caused the accident. The investigation is ongoing.
