UPDATE:
CHARLOTTE, NC – Two men are charged in connection to a deadly stabbing in north Charlotte.
Court documents show police arrested Marcus Worrell and Kwamane Herriott-Cox on Monday.
Both men are charged with first degree murder, first degree burglary and felony conspiracy in connection to the death of 44-year-old Jeremy Mouzon.
Someone called 911 around 3 a.m. on August 3 to report a man lying on the ground on Redwood Avenue covered in blood.
Police found Mouzon stabbed more than a dozen times.
According to court documents, investigators believe several men chased Mouzon from his apartment on Terrybrook Lane to Redwood lane, where they attacked him and stabbed him.

CHARLOTTE, NC – The death of a 44-year-old man in north Charlotte on Sunday is now a homicide, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police.
Medic says it took a victim to the hospital around 3 a.m. on Sunday after a stabbing on Redwood Avenue off of East Sugar Creek Road.
CMPD identified the victim on Monday as Jeremy Mouzon and said the case is now being classified as a homicide investigation.
No other details were released.
