GASTON COUNTY, N.C. — A woman is dead following a two vehicle accident in Kings Mountain Thursday morning.
The Kings Mountain Police Department says at about 9:05 a.m. on Thrusday, January 11th, officers responded to an accident on Lake Montonia Road near Gold Mine School Road.
The driver of one of the vehicles, Brandee Payne Kowalczyk, was found unresponsive and later pronounced dead at Gaston Memorial Hospital.
Another individual and a small child were also taken to Gaston Memorial.
The case is still under investigation.
