Local veteran receives new HVAC system from non-profit

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A local veteran now has a new HVAC system thanks to the support of a non-profit. Purple Heart Homes celebrated Yolanda White-Hill for her service, who also landscaped her front and back yard as well as completing the HVAC installation. Yolanda, a U.S. Army National Guard veteran, said her Rocky River home needed repairs but it would have been very hard without the assistance from Purple Heart Homes.

Earlier this year in May, as part of Military Appreciation Month, Purple Heart Homes with Anderson Heating & Cooling surprised Yolanda live on WCCB News Rising when they announced they’ll be installing the new HVAC system!
