Couch Chat: CMS Board Voting On Multiculturalism Policy

It’s about what role sexual orientation and gender identity plays in your kids’ classrooms. Today, the board is voting on whether to add those topics to the list of characteristics that should be considered when promoting diversity in schools. Board members will hear from the community before the vote today. The North Carolina values coalition is against the change… It says, the district is pushing an LGBT political agenda and that they’re trying to rob parents of their rights.
