CHARLOTTE, NC — Officials with the Charlotte Fire Department say an electrical panel sparked a two-alarm fire Monday night in southwest Charlotte.
The fire happened around 8:30pm at the Genpak warehouse on Westinghouse Boulevard near Wilmar Boulevard. Officials say it took about 45 minutes and more than 50 firefighters to get the fire under control.
No injuries were reported.
Officials do not yet know what caused the fire, but say it started in an electrical panel and was isolated to one area of the building. The investigation is ongoing.
