Couch Chat: Trump Meeting With Video Game Industry Reps

In the wake of the deadly Florida High School shooting, President Trump is turning the spotlight on violent video games. He’s meeting with video game industry representatives and member of Congress today. Trump has repeatedly referenced video game and movie violence while talking about guns and school safety since last month’s Florida shooting.

Some psychologists say, violent video games use the same techniques as really good teachers and kids learning ways and how to be more violent. But about two decades of research say there’s no link between violence and video games.

Some studies show a connection between gaming and high emotions but it says it does not lead to physical violence.
