Charlotte Ballet’s ‘The Most Incredible Thing’
Until March 18
Knight Theater
$15-85
This is a fairy tale pop ballet about a King who holds a competition to determine who can make the “most incredible thing.” After receiving rave reviews in London, Javier de Frutos and the Pet Shop Boys’ The Most Incredible Thing makes its American debut right here in Charlotte.
The Pet Shop Boys is an English electronic pop band. It is their first ever composition for a full-length dance work. The two have sold more than 50 million records worldwide and are listed by The Guinness Book of Records to be the most successful duo in UK music history. Javier will adopt aspects of the ballet to better demonstrate the talents of Charlotte Ballet dancers – this includes adding a more classical approach to some sections and adding new content to make the work their own. Tickets available here.
