Couch Chat: Self Driving Ubers Off The Roads

All self-driving Ubers are off the roads in multiple cities after one hit and killed a woman in Arizona. It’s the first time a self-driving vehicle has killed a person. Police say, the woman tried to cross the street at night and didn’t use a cross walk.

The car was in self-drive mode…. but there was someone behind the wheel. Police say, it would’ve been hard avoid the woman in any mode. Police also say the Uber was going 28 in a 35 and didn’t attempt to brake. Are the roads ready for driver-less cars? And is the industry moving too fast?
