70s moving in for the next two days

Tracking light showers Thursday morning

Tonight stays mostly gray and breezy, with clouds hanging tough and wind gusts pushing close to 35 mph at times. Overnight lows stay mild in the upper 50s and 60s.

Thursday starts off a bit unsettled with a few spotty showers around, but patience pays off. Clouds should thin later in the day, giving way for sunshine to break through and help temperatures climb into the low 70s by the afternoon.

Friday is the standout day in the forecast! A few thunderstorms could pop up early, but the bigger story is the warmth. Morning temperatures start in the low 60s which is unusually warm for this time of yearand highs surge into the upper 70s. At this point, Friday is on track to challenge record territory, potentially topping the record high of 77 degrees set back in 2014.

Heading into the weekend, Saturday morning is shaping up to be wet. Right now, the most likely scenario brings widespread rain with some heavier downpours overnight Friday into Saturday morning. There’s still uncertainty on whether showers linger into Saturday afternoon and possibly spill over into Sunday.
