Political Affiliation A Protected Class?
A judge ruled that a bar was in the right after refusing to serve a Trump supporter. A man was kicked out of a New York City bar just after President Trump took the oath of office. He was wearing a Make America Great Again hat.
The Judge says, it’s perfectly legal because there’s isn’t a law that protects political discrimination. Religious beliefs and civil rights are protected. In today’s really extreme political climate… lots of things are falling under political affiliations. Such as gun rights, birth control, same sex marriage, etc. Should political affiliation be a protected class?
