‘Get Your Rear in Gear’ for the Colon Cancer Coalition
CHARLOTTE, NC — The Get Your Rear in Gear Charlotte 5K returns March 21 at First Ward Park, bringing the community together to raise awareness about colorectal cancer, support patients in treatment and provide cancer screenings for those with limited or no health insurance.
A survivor and local physician stopped by WCCB Rising to discuss warning signs, when to get screened and how the event supports patients and screening programs in the Charlotte area.
