Warming trend moves in

80s return this weekend

If you’ve been waiting for a true taste of spring this is it. After a stretch of cooler, more typical conditions, we’re about to flip the switch in a big way, and it all starts today!

ThursdayΒ is ourΒ transition day. It’s not quite warm enough to call it a full spring preview yet, but you’ll definitely notice the difference. Afternoon highs will climb into the low 60s, which is a step in the right direction. You’ll still want a light jacketΒ this morning, but compared to where we’ve been, it’s anΒ improvement. More importantly, it sets the stage for what’s coming next.

By Friday, everything comes together. Sunshine takes over, temperatures respond, and we finally tap into that springtime feel. Highs will reach around 70 degrees. Welcome to SPRING!

If you have any outdoor plans, you couldn’t have picked a better time. A strong warming trend will be in full effect, and it’s going to feel more like early summer than early spring. Saturday brings a mix of sun and clouds, but don’t let that fool youΒ temperatures will soar into the low 80s.Β

By Sunday, we take it up another notch. Skies turn mostly sunny, and highs push into theΒ midΒ 80s. That’s not something we see every year, so it’s definitely worth soaking in. It’ll be one of those days that feels more like June than the tail end of winter.

The warmth doesn’t disappear right away, either. We’ll carry those mild, above-average temperatures into early next week.

ENJOY!
