Increased fire danger, with cooler air moving back in

Cooler Tuesday and Wednesday

If you’re enjoying this early taste of summer, we continue with that vibe for Monday. Highs will stay in the 80s, keeping things warm and a little ahead of schedule for this time of year, but nothing record breaking like we saw over the weekend. The only changes is that a cold front will move in giving way to a spotty mountain shower, but for most of us, it’s a pretty quiet and pleasant day. Because of the dry and windy conditions, the fire danger has increased and will stay that way through the day.

Tuesday brings a noticeable change, because of that front. It’s easily the coolest day of the week, with highs and even the morning lows dipping slightly below what’s typical for late March. It’ll feel a bit more like “normal spring” compared to the warmth we’ve been soaking up.

By Wednesday, we level things out. Temperatures bounce back closer to average, and overall it looks like a comfortable day with no major weather issues.

Heading into Thursday, we’re keeping an eye on another small chance for rain. It’s not a washout by any means, just a few passing showers possible as highs settle into the upper 70s. I’m watching timing on this situation as it may linger into Friday.

Friday is when the warmth really makes a comeback. We’re right back near 80 degrees, giving us another taste of those almost-summer vibes to wrap up the workweek.

But don’t get too used to it another cooldown is waiting in the wings for the weekend. Temperatures will take a dip again! Stay tuned!
