MOORESVILLE, NC- The tanker carrying sodium hydroxide exploded Tuesday morning at the Carolina Beverage Group LLC at 110 Barley Park Lane.
Fire officials on scene confirmed one person died in the explosion and one person was injured who was transported to a Charlotte hospital.
Officials say the person who died was the tanker operator.
Investigating agencies have said there is currently now danger to the surrounding community.
