Motorcyclist killed in Stallings crash after driver runs red light, police say

A motorcyclist died from a car crash in Union County on Wednesday night, according to the Stallings Police Department.

It happened around 6:15 p.m. at the intersection of Stallings Road and Guion Lane.

Police said a Toyota Tacoma entered the intersection against a red light and collided with Nelson Lee Graves operating a Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

Graves received life-saving measures on scene, but was later pronounced dead by paramedics.

The Toyota driver stayed on scene and cooperated with investigators, police said. No impairment is suspected, and no charges have been filed at this time, according to police.
