Mecklenburg Co. Sheriff’s deputy fired after DV arrest

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s deputy has been fired after being charged with domestic violence.

Police arrested Francisco Ramos at his home in Mint Hill on Wednesday. Investigators say Ramos learned about a family emergency while on duty and went home.

According to court documents, Ramos then got into an argument with his wife. He’s accused of pushing her through a closet door. Ramos is charged with assault on a female.
